Today new media and technologies have introduced new forms of socialization. In addition, social media platforms open a space for the creation of virtual identities via profiles and avatars. While these virtual identities create an opportunity for self-expression outside assigned social and sexual identities, they also form the shores of a simulated reality.

As a young artist, I deal mainly with these contradictions between the chief determinants of contemporary life and traditional cultural codes. I express these contradictions in the compositions I create with bright and radiant colors, humor, and irony. In doing so, I (re)place the older generation in a social, active, and modern society. I humorously paint the older generation at the center of their criticisms of the younger generation in daily life.
