Jonathan Oberlander is professor and chair of Social Medicine in the School of Medicine, and professor of Health Policy & Management in the Gillings School of Global Public Health, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is editor of the Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law, author of The Political Life of Medicare, and co-editor of The Social Medicine Reader, 3^rd ed.
